UK label Proper Records announced six new box sets for release. Three of them had been issued on March 23 and another three will be released on May 4, 2009.
For us, the Charley Patton release is the interesting one. Proper compiled a box set with Patton's recordings as the "75th anniversary version". This year, Patton will be dead 75 years.
