An e-mail by Adam Komorowski reached me today, telling me that "Boppin'" Bob Jones has died on Easter Sunday due to brain cancer. Jones was an engineer for famous reissue labels like Charly, Bear Family and Ace. He was 65 old. It seems that Mr. Komorowski also sent mails to other bloggers, because the Johnny One-Note team received a similar e-mail.
Updates
- Expanded the Alabama Hayloft Jamboree post with the help of newspaper clippings.
- Corrected the "Million Dollar Memphis Sound" post on some issues and added a release by David Dee.

One of THE great mastering engineers. Whenever I saw Bob's name in the credits of a comp, I knew it was gonna sound great. RIP.
