Molly Bee, a country-teenage star of the 1950s and 1960s, died on Febuary 7, 2009. She was 69 years old.
Bee started her career on a children's program and then moved to Tennessee Ernie Ford's radio show. She also cut several duets with Ford. During the 1950s, Bee was also a member of the famed Hometown Jamboree out of Los Angeles, hosted by Cliffie Stone. Bee's first chart hit was "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" in 1952 for Capitol.
Molly Bee lived in Carlsbad, CA, and died after a stroke at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA.
